These terms govern your purchase and use of OctoLangWP. By buying or activating a licence you agree to them. If you don’t agree, don’t use the paid version; the free version remains available under its own licence.

1. Who you are contracting with
OctoLangWP is produced by [LEGAL NAME] ([LEGAL FORM]), [ADDRESS], VAT ID [NIP], registration number [REGON / KRS]. Purchases are processed by Lemon Squeezy, LLC, which acts as the merchant of record. This means Lemon Squeezy is the seller for the transaction, issues your invoice, and collects and remits any applicable VAT or sales tax.
2. The software licence
The plugin code is licensed under the GNU General Public License version 2 or later, as required for WordPress plugins. Your purchase is not a purchase of the code itself. What you buy is a subscription that entitles you to:
- activate the paid features on the number of production sites included in your plan;
- receive software updates through the plugin update channel;
- receive support for the duration of your subscription.
3. Sites and activation
A site means one production domain. Staging, development and local installations are detected and do not consume an activation slot. You may release and reassign a slot at any time from within the plugin or from your account. Sharing a licence key outside your own organisation or your own clients is not permitted.
4. Renewal and cancellation
Subscriptions renew automatically each year at the price in effect when you subscribed, unless cancelled. You can cancel at any time through the customer portal linked from your receipt. Cancelling stops future charges; your licence stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for.
5. When a licence ends
Your site keeps working. Translations already stored on your site continue to be served, no configured language is removed, and no URL changes. What stops is access to updates, support and the paid add-on features; the free plugin keeps translating new content. We treat any behaviour that breaks a live site on expiry as a defect.
6. Refunds
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee on first purchases. Request a refund by writing to support@octolangwp.com or through Lemon Squeezy. Renewals are refundable within 14 days of the renewal charge. Refunds are issued by Lemon Squeezy to the original payment method. The full refund policy sets out the details.
7. Translation providers
OctoLangWP does not translate text itself and does not resell translation. You supply your own DeepL or OpenAI API key, your site communicates with that provider directly, and your relationship with that provider is governed by their terms and their pricing. We are not responsible for their availability, their output quality, or the charges they bill you. We never see the text being translated.
8. Support
Support covers defects in the plugin and reasonable questions about using it. It does not cover custom development, work on your theme or unrelated plugins, server administration, or problems caused by modified copies of the plugin. We aim to answer within two business days.
9. Acceptable use
You may not use the plugin to translate content that is unlawful in your jurisdiction, nor attempt to circumvent licence checks, nor redistribute paid builds as your own product. The GPL grants you extensive rights over the code; it does not grant you rights over our trademarks, our licence keys, or our update service.
10. Warranty and liability
The software is provided as is. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability arising from your use of the plugin is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced by email to active subscribers at least 30 days before they take effect. Continuing to use the plugin after that date means you accept the revised terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Polish law, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live.
