Cost and your key

What you pay, and to whom.

What will translation actually cost me?

A small site or a shop with a few dozen products usually fits in your provider’s free tier and costs nothing. A bigger site is a few euros per language, once, because every sentence goes into translation memory and is never paid for twice. After that you pay only for new content.

Why do I need my own key?

Because it is the only way nobody counts your words. If we bought the translation and resold it to you, we would need a limit and a margin. Creating a key takes about two minutes, and a free key is enough to start.

Which translation engines and languages work?

DeepL and OpenAI today, and the plugin is built to add more. Switching engine means changing the key in settings; your translation memory stays. Any language your engine supports works; we keep no list and no limit.

Does it duplicate my posts?

No. There is one post, translated as it renders. Translations live in a separate table keyed by the text itself, so editing a post invalidates only that post.

Will it slow down my site?

Translated pages are cached, so visitors practically never wait for the translation engine. We work with the major cache plugins, and a page that failed to translate is marked not cacheable, so a broken version is never stored.

Can I correct a machine translation?

Yes. The editor lets you fix any segment, and a corrected segment is never overwritten. You can also turn on review mode, so translations wait for your approval before visitors see them.

Can I move over from WPML or Weglot?

Yes. There is no content to migrate, because the plugin keeps no separate posts: install, pick your languages, switch the old plugin off. On Agency we help you keep your existing URLs, so you don’t lose search rankings.

Licence and privacy

What we see, and what happens after a year.

Does my content reach you?

No. The plugin calls your translation engine directly from your server. All that reaches us is your licence key and site address, at activation and on periodic licence checks. The free version never contacts us.

What happens when my licence expires?

Nothing breaks. Every translation you already have keeps being served, no language disappears and no URL changes. Only translating new content in the paid features pauses until you renew.

I have two sites. Which plan?

Two Pro licences, €158 a year. From three sites up, Agency at €249 is cheaper and gives you one key for all of them, with seats you move between sites yourself.
